This was a daily challenge given for the month of October with the drabbles from Pocket Jack's KiKi-tober Prompt list My goal was to write at least 500 words and draw a picture every day. The nature of the beast does mean that in order to post daily these are not be as polished as I would like, some being posted far from what I wanted for the idea but I was simply out of time.
  Heads up - there are chapters that talk about underage characters and sex - both consensual and actual rape, along with a good amount of dubious consent. The first chapter that brings it up was posted October 10th - Chapter 11 : Grief. Just Don't want anyone to have a bad time because they got blind sided. The way that section discusses the violence of this particular chapter is more of a reflections from a now older character. Grief also has a tl;dr that skips the trauma for readers who want to avoid that.
  As an additional warning, Killer has a very complicated and toxic relationship with sex from an early age that goes mostly unaddressed until the very end. This is alluded to by other characters time and time again and could be triggering for readers.
  While Killer and Kidd both are sexually active before either had turned 18 - they don't actually hook up with /each other/ until after they've turned pirate.
